Princeton, New Jersey, is located in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States.
New Jersey's State Capital is the city of Trenton, aproximately 20 miles away, but the Governor's Residence has been in Princeton since. The first Governer's Mansion was Morven, later replaced by the nearby, (and larger), Drumthwacket. Morven is the current home of the New Jersey Historical Society
