  Hot Springs is traditionally best known for the natural spring water that gives it its name, flowing out of the ground at a very high 147 degrees Fahrenheit (64 degrees Celsius). The tourist trade that this brought made it a very successful spa town. However, it is now also noted as the boyhood home of US President Bill Clinton. It is the home of the Arlington Hotel, which was a popular retreat for Al Capone.

  Fort Smith is a city situated at the junction of the Arkansas and Poteau rivers. It is one of the two county seats of Sebastian County, Arkansas. It is also the principal city of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of Fort Smith, Arkansas and the Crawford, Franklin, and Sebastian, Arkansas and Le Flore and Sequoyah, Oklahoma counties.   Some of Fayetteville's highlights include the town square, where a farmer's market is held during the summer, and Dickson Street, a main street that is lined with shops and restaurants and that leads through town to the University of Arkansas. The Walton Arts Center, located on Dickson Street (and named after members of the Walton family) is a performing arts center that puts on plays, concerts and other cultural events. Fayetteville was also the first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
